A white painted cabinet finish is combined with dark-stained cherry at the island in this refreshing kitchen. Though the room isn’t that large, there is plenty of space for good storage, multiple cooks and many guests at the commodious island. Much thought was given to the appliances and the client opted for two freezer drawers instead of a refrigerator/freezer combo.

The countertops are Taj Mahal Quartzite, backsplash is a hand-glazed ceramic, and extra pizazz comes from the choice
of the pendant lights.
