TRADITIONAL/COUNTRY KITCHEN

8 -Chefs own Kitchen

Working with an L-shaped space that was long
and narrow, without enough of a return at one end provided a design puzzle. We were able to gain a much-needed additional 5-1/2 feet by taking over an exterior shed, which also allowed us to vent out the powerful hood over the professional stove.

The aesthetic of this kitchen is a big departure from the stainless steel kitchens in his two restaurants, so at home this chef and his family opted for Country and friendly, with cream-painted cabinetry, sunset-colored granite, and easy-to-maintain porcelain backsplash tile.
